About me:
My name is Stuart Forester. I’m a freelance graphic designer based in Mitcham, South London. I have 9 years experience both in house and freelancing, designing for print and web. I’m imaginative, skilled and fully capable of taking a basic idea or client brief through to completion of commercial product. I’m highly skilled in the use of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and In Design. I also have web design, motion graphics and video editing knowledge. I’m reliable working within tight deadlines and consider myself a good communicator of ideas and receptive to external input.

Industry Experience:
2006 - present: Self Employed.
This has included a variety of print projects including large format graphics for a London-wide bus advertising campaign, illustration for hair care product company Pantene, advertising and promotional literature for several central London events, DVD packaging design for European release, CD booklet and disc design for national release and various promotional posters and flyers, design of user interface, logos and icons for online gaming machines.
Design and visualization, both 2D illustrations and 3D models, of well known high street outlets such as Costa Coffee, Tesco, Pret-A-Manger, Fat Face, Hawkshead, Fenn Wright Manson and Aurora Fashions. This was in a freelance role for retail design company Box Of Frogs.
Production of motion graphics for central London broadcast production company Wired, online movie download company FilmOn, video playback company Fabsound, sound recordist Howie Nicol and music video director Emil Nava.

2002 - 2006: Waterfall Production Studios, London W12
Position: Freelance to permanent position.
Role: In-house graphic designer and motion graphics designer for busy TV production facilities company. Covering design, management and overseeing of print materials for a range of products for regular clients and international retail companies. This included packaging and content design for DVD productions, packaging design for hair and beauty products, event literature and magazine ad design as well as branding and design of the companies’ stationary and communications literature. My responsibilities also included the creation of graphics for blue/green screen studio shoots, a range of idents, titles and captions, as well as the design and re-branding of the company web site and showreel.
